Amazingly, little scientifi c investigation has been directed toward the concentration camp Lublin-Majdanek in eastern Poland, even though orthodox Holocaust sources claim that between fi fty thousand and over a million Jews were murdered there. The only information available from public libraries was thoroughly discredited propaganda written mostly by Polish Communists. This glaring research gap has fi nally been fi lled. After exhaustive research of primary sources and a thorough exploration of the physical remainders of the former concentration camp, Mattogno and Graf created a monumental study, which expertly dissects and repudiates the myth of homicidal gas chambers at Majdanek. They also investigated the legendary mass executions of Jews in tank trenches (“Operation Harvest Festival”) critically and proved them groundless. Finally, by relying on primary documentation, they managed to determine quite accurately the real death toll of this camp. The authors’ investigations lead to unambiguous conclusions about the camp which are radically different from the offi cial theses: Majdanek was not an ‘extermination camp’, but a labor camp, and the vast majority of inmates who died during their incarceration succumbed to diseases rather than wanton killings. Again they have produced a standard and methodical investigative work which authentic historiography can not ignore. ...
