The bible, also called the holy Scriptures, is, as its name holy shows, beld in great reverence by the Christian population. The Christians in general believe that every thing the bible states, was written down by holy men, inspired by the spirit of God. A few amongst them will admit that some parts of the book bear the stamp of mere human origin, but still on the whole they consider the bible to be a godly book.
