Preface. The object of this work is to present those prophecies of the Bible upon the fulfillment of which new light has been thrown by modern research. A mere glance at the treatises of Bishop Newton and Rev. Alexander Keith, which have long been known as the most popular works on Prophecy, will show how much they have fallen behind the times.
