The Entrance to the Labyrinth. All of us have our own view of things, especially when we first lay eyes upon something previously unknown to us. This is especially true for those famous old monuments whose legacies of the dim past are still endowed with an evocatively luminous power. The cathedral at Chartres is such a monument. For me, odd as it sounds, the cathedral is associated with railroad trains.
