Edgar Cayce gave over fourteen thousand psychic readings. of which approximately one-third were life readings (accounts of past earth lives). These life readings reported some of the individual's former earth appearances with. their consequences. The readings used the term "entity" to denote the complete individual, including the physical body, the conscious mind, the subconscious mind, the astral body, the soul, and the superconscious mind.
